Thanks Well, the Kaibutsu story has some pretty good writing and lacks Weed's mouthfuls, so... that's a recipe for a good story

Pretty much. Even though what probably gnawed at my patience was Weed's "let them live" logic.

Let them live, why not... but in case of Genba or the Irish wolfhound guy (whatthehellwashisname), death would be merciful. I mean, "let them live" demented, disoriented, castrated, without fangs?! Oh yes, THAT's a mercy.

Second, banishing Jerome. Bloody idiot, how about asking him what happened first? Noooo. You got blood on your fangs, you get out. Even though I still see Jerome as a bit of John-copycat, he's one of the best characters in the series.

And third, Hougen himself. They didn't kill him, yet they couldn't let a bad guy run around loose. So what? Yes, the mighty force of lightning! Ick. I was like "WTF, you gotta be kidding me."

And I do not doubt Vista is... at least a mediocre tool. But I have it stuck on a notebook that barely meets the specifics for the system, so I can run Vista on it... and nothing else. Who needs programs, right? *sigh*

I saw the thumbnail in my messeges, and my immediate thought was, "Holy crap, is that Kaibutsu?" Imagine my pure joy; I love seeing artwork of this fellow around here.

It's a very dramtic piece, I like the pose and style here, it goes particularly well with the fact that his mane is cut short in this picture.

After your computer is all patched up and feeling better, perhaps a little highlight is in order for the clouds, but otherwise it's perfect.

On a different note... Overly moral heroes make me twitch. Imagine if Gin acted the same way towards Akakabuto as Weed towards Hougen?
